Give hope to students with disabilities to continue schooling.

Our SAWL members, partners and friends, including Minister Indranee Rajah, Ms Rani Singam, and Lee Ci En, came together and lent their voices to help raise funds for the SAWL Scholarship Fund! The music video is a beautiful rendition of Charlie Lim's "Room at the Table" which aptly appeals to everyone for more graciousness and inclusivity in our society.

Through this Fund, we not only assist students with disabilities on their educational needs, we hope to bring them one step closer to achieving their dreams and aspirations. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we have received 90% more applications for the Fund and we hope to be able to extend our support to more beneficiaries.

The Singapore Association of Women Lawyers (SAWL) is a non-for-profit organization focused on helping students with disabilities continue their schooling. Through the SAWL Scholarship Fund, SAWL supports educational needs and helps beneficiaries move closer to their dreams and aspirations. In Toronto, Ontario, community members and supporters can find inspiration in SAWL’s efforts to broaden access and promote inclusion, including fundraising initiatives that have brought together SAWL members, partners, and friends. SAWL has also shared its message through a music video featuring Charlie Lim’s “Room at the Table,” a theme that emphasizes graciousness and inclusivity in society. During the COVID-19 pandemic, SAWL reported a significant increase in scholarship applications, receiving 90% more applications for the Fund, reflecting the growing demand for support. With continued fundraising and outreach, SAWL aims to extend assistance to more beneficiaries as needs rise.
